The Nora Baart Stichting (NBS) has awarded travel grants to two students.
Marina Hommerson (Molecular Life Sciences, Radboud University) will visit the CUNY Advanced Science Research Center, New York, to study the effect of extrinsic factors in cerebrospinal fluid of multiple sclerosis patients on oligodendrocytes.
Gina Dunkel (Molecular Life Sciences, Radboud University) will be supported for her research at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Genitourinary Medical Oncology, Houston. She will visualize the function of cytotoxic T cells in melanoma to understand and modulate immune escape mechanisms.
