Spreker van het jaar 2016 is Prof. Dr. Carol Robinson
Wednesday 21 September 2016 09:27 Carol Robinson is professor in de Chemie aan de universiteit van Oxford, Engeland. Ze is beroemd vanwege haar pionierende gebruik van massaspectrometrie als analytisch hulpmiddel en voor haar grensverleggende onderzoek naar de 3D-structuur van eiwitten. Vanwege haar grote prestaties is ze benoemd tot ‘Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire’. Robinson hield haar lezing op 6 oktober in Utrecht en op 7 oktober in Groningen.
Prof. Dr. Carol Robinson holds the Chair of Doctor Lee’s Professor of Chemistry at the University of Oxford and is a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire. She is renowned for pioneering the use of mass spectrometry as an analytical tool and for her ground-breaking research into the 3D structure of proteins.
Prof. Robinson will present her lecture “Membrane proteins in health and disease - insights from mass spectrometry” at two locations:
